oh, superman
Babycake has started obsessing about Superman for some reason. I think the other kids at nursery must have told him about the man of steel. I realised this morning that he has never seen Superman, so I showed him a whole load of pictures off the net. His first response was to laugh and say, "pants". It was all I could do to stop myself giving him a good beating. How dare he diss the man of steel. A bad beginning to his life long love of comic books.

My son was a big fan of Superman. He had a pair of Superman pajamas, including the cape when he was about 2 1/2 years old and wore them almost daily to day care...and made me buy him a new pair every growth spurt until he was almost 5. Even now, at 22 he has two Superman T-shirts.
