Unless Johnson's got some cunning plan to invade Essex, he can't be as bad as the aforementioned "current occupant."
I haven't bothered reading up on it, but it seems like Johnson's dropped the willful faux eccentricity to appear electable. I would have hoped for mandatory Union Jack tattoos for police officers, or perhaps tax breaks for people riding penny-farthings to work, or something equally inane. Alas, no.
