the con
I thought I would share my latest musical obsession. Tegan and Sara's album The Con is quite simply brilliant.* There really isn't a duff track on the album. The bubble gum pop covers an album of surprising depth. Here are a couple of tracks off the album: I was married and Burn your life down
* DISCLAIMER: The opinions expressed in this post are solely those of Mr McMuffin. Mrs McMuffin, being a soul of low sense, doesn't appreciate the genius of Tegan and Sara at all.

Tegan and Sara remind me of the Bay City Rollers which is all I'll say at this point.

Karan! How could you?! They are much better than that...I think.

MMMM Not sure, I can see that they may initially grow on one, but then become very annoying.

I thought they sounded like an all-female Wheatus!

Ah, yes...I can see that. I love Wheatus. Sadly very underrated band. I have now acquired their last album too, which is apparently their 'breakthrough' album, and I am loving that too. The more I listen the more I like them. Of course, I will have forgotten all about them in six months, but that just the way it goes, I suppose. Fame is fleeting.
