how secure is your password?
Found this while trawling through Lifehacker who got it from someone else, but I can't be bothered to do any more links. The Password Meter will measure how secure your favourite password is. Scarily my most used password scored only as 9% secure. Fortunately my second most used password managed to notch up a whopping 84%. I know which one I will be using in future.

Hmm. Nice idea but I'm not convinced that A1b2c3d4e5 is actually 100% secure ...

So...you go to the website of a self-described hacker, leave your IP address there and then willingly leave your favorite password there? Good luck with that. :)

How cynical. I am just a very trusting soul. I don't have anything worth stealing. Why would anyone bother hacking into my computer? Or yours for that matter. You got me thinking though and I had to go back to read through the site properly. It all looks above board and it came from a reputable source. So there! Or to put it another way, (fingers in ears) "na na na na na na , I can't hear what your saying..."
