very cool...
Our new Phil & Ted's pushchair arrived today. After a little bit of swearing, Babycake and I managed to put it together. We got a black one and it's very cool looking. The only problem is that Babycake refuses to sit in it. Hopefully he will get over that pretty soon.

That is splendid. I was secretly a little disappointed that our second child arrived before the Phil and Ted strollers hit the local market. Mind you, I had to be restrained from buying a Bugaboo Frog with a platform, so I may not be a good example.
Oddly, we seem to have walked less after child the second showed up, but I couldn't tell you why. Aside from the lack of a good two-passenger stroller, of course.

It must be a boy nesting thing. I want to make the house waterproof and decorated and fit for children. Mr McMuffin wants to buy pushchairs that don't fit in our cars and consequently wants a bigger car too!

Well, that seems completely reasonable to me. He's got a few years yet to make that argument - we're coming to the other side of the phase where even a short trip looks like we're attempting the north face face of K2, but it's been a while coming.
I think that a large portion of the local market for "minivans" and gargantuan SUVs are the Nimitz-class pushchairs that people buy - to walk around the mall, mostly. At least you lot will actually be using this device in the great outdoors.
