We'd already bought them! Anyway, you know how pathologically honest/guilty I am. We went to Waitrose about 10 minutes later and Mr mcMuffin fed him a loose banana, I had to get a single banana, weigh it and get a ticket before I felt able to leave the shop. Mr McMuffin thought I was mad, but stealing is stealing in my book.
