iPhone tips no.1
You probably are not surprised to hear that I have been playing with my iPhone quite a lot since I got it. My main concern has been how to access files - documents, movies etc stored on my Mac. I think I have it sussed now. Two apps are going to make my life much easier. The first is a fantastic little program, called iPhone Remote that sets up my Mac as a server and allows me to access practically everything stored on it through a neat GUI on the iPhone. It will even stream music and movies. Oh, it's still in beta, but as far as I can see it is stable and works well. The other app is called FilemarkMaker, which creates bookmarks of documents, PDFs work best, that can be synced with the iPhone and accessed offline. I'm not entirely sure how it works, but I can say that it works well.

I am loving the sound of your iphone and am very envious. I liked the text you sent me, it was far better quality than those sent from 'ordinary' phones!

PS, does this mean your postings will increase, as there has been a significant decline of late, very sad.
