the tyranny of malcolm in the middle
Sky+ is great (it's sort of like TIVO, for those who don't know). However, it has it's downside too. I have been recording Malcolm in the Middle. I love the show, but I just can't seem to keep up with the number of recordings that I have. Every Saturday for the last few weeks, Sky has shown afternoons of MITM, back to back episodes. I now have so many episodes to catch up with that what started off as a pleasure has very quickly turned into a chore. I even asked Mrs McMuffin today if she would watch a few episodes for me while I did something else. The sad thing is that I'm contemplating switching off the recorder because I just can't bear to have all those unwatched episodes starring at me balefully every time I look at the planner for something to watch. I just know I am being judged.

The thing I find frustrating is when it records ones you've already seen and you constantly have to watch the first couple of minutes to decide if you've seen it or not. I guess some way of marking which episodes you've already seen would be a bit complicated.
