all gone
Having had a wonderful time in Belgium of all places, Mr McMuffin and I were looking forward to looking through the fantastic pictures and film we shot. We had some completely gorgeous ones of Babycake in foreign lands, looking massively cute as usual and I couldn't wait to pore through them again. It seems that our camera was lost or swiped in Brussels and so were our pictures. I am so sad.

Oh, that's a real pity. Have you tried contacting the lost property office (ie the reception) where you were staying, just in case?

How terrible. My greatest fear while on holiday is losing my pictures. Cameras are replaceable, the pictures on them less so. I baulk now at my 2GB memory card that can hold 1500 pictures - what if I lose it? So many pictures all on one card! Better when I had 8 250mb cards - same total capacity, less eggs in one basket.
