anniversary

C_our_wedding_service_14_1

It's five years today since we got married. We haven't got anything planned for today which is the first time. Mrs McMuffin is going to work today as usual and I am working tonight. How did that happen? Our lives seem to have been taken over with looking after Babycake and day to day living. I guess this is what being grown up is all about. Anyway, happy anniversary, darling...I still think about that wonderful day when we got married. It was easily the best wedding I have ever been to...

By the way, the photo was taken at the moment when we hesitated at the idea of forsaking all others. The whole room burst into laughter. I'm not sure what that was all about.

love you long time

I've just stopped for a second and it's now too late to catch up on all the phone calls I need to make (Big Sister and Mrs Carrot Cake). Life is too busy and I spend too much time doing boring things and not kissing the gorgeous head of the adorable Babycake (not so adorable last week when we had no sleep and got covered in vomit about 20 times because the poor little mite had an ear infection).

Our house is about as disorganised and messy as our lives and our latest acquisition is the 4 foot high helium balloon of Dora the Explorer that Babycake fell in love with today. To be honest I'm finding it a bit creepy and hope it deflates soon. Anyway, must dash, au revoir, toodle pip.

babycake loves the rain

Babycake has always loved water. His first experience of rain on his face sent him into a fit of hysterical laughter. This evening he has decided to stand in the sudden downpour. He just stood there getting soaking wet with a silly grin on his face. He is just too cute for words sometimes.
