my new computer
I have just bought myself a new computer*. I have configured it just the way I need it. Never again will my computer hang when I open a Word document.

Glad to see that I am not the only person who engages in this kind of wishful consumerism. Perhaps I shouldn't mention that the US price is about UKP 2500 less -- all the offset I need to make up for having to pay for health insurance and my own retirement!
