testing frenzy

I am posting this using the very interesting posting feature on the new Flock web browser.  It is really a revamped Firefox, I think.  It looks lovely and has lots of nice features.  Well worth checking out.  I am also in the process of testing the preview version of six apart's new community blogging thingy, called Vox.  Although, I'm not sure two people make much of a community.  Oh, and a big hi to my new neighbor, MackemSteve

I know this is a bit shallow, but it bothers me that neighbours is spelt wrong, and it would stop me using it in the end.  This sort of thing has happened before to me.

Blogged with Flock

I just don't 'get' Vox. And I've tried it.

Same here. What's the point of it. SixApart own Typepad, LiveJournal and now have created Vox. To what end? How many blogging products does one need? Some Vox features are quite nice, just add them into Typepad and I'll be a happy bunny.

Yes, so is flavor and favorite...all sorts of words, really.

Just spell it your way and maintain that your way is right :-)

I have started using Vox in addition to my usual blogs (many of which are on TypePad) and while I enjoy Vox, I would like to see much of its functionality added to TypePad.

I can see how they may want Vox to become the MySpace/Yahoo! 360 killer and use TypePad for more advanced bloggers.

I've been tinkering with the "performancing" blog plug-in for Firefox; it's worth a look. It's been a while since I tried Flock but going from what I remember, Performancing has the advantage of being able to edit prior posts and save drafts.

The spell-checker that's built into Typepad is very useful but for its American spellings. How nice it would be to have a setting for "proper english".
