I thought you might like to know that...

I have completed my first full week of fag free living. It's been difficult, but not half as difficult as I had expected. The physical stuff has completely gone and now all I am left with is the unexpected craving. I decided that today I would try to clear out our pantry. It has got into a bit of a mess, and Mrs McMuffin whinges about it on a regular basis, although she will not tidy it up. Anyway, I spent four hours on it. Every half hour or so, the uninvited thought pop into my head that maybe now would be a good time to have a fag. These thoughts are all the more strange because I am a non smoker. How odd.
