what's happened...
Where has everyone gone? We've just been shopping and there is no one around. It's a ghost town. Has everyone gone to the seaside for the day and forgot to ask us? Or, maybe they had a meeting and decided that no one liked us, and they have all sneaked off for the day. It's all a bit strange and creepy, and I kept thinking about 28 Days Later. Oh, and it's really, really hot.

Yep, probably the World Cup. I'd planned to watch it out in the garden but it was just too hot for the earlier games. Just perfect now, though, for Argentina vs Ivory Coast.
