tomorrow...
The BBC have been forecasting a warm, sunny, day for tomorrow all week. For some reason I have really been looking forward to it. We have decided to celebrate the end of the overcast skies by inviting a load of our friends for something to eat and drink. Being British, we are not exactly confident about the weather, so we are going for a late lunch/very early dinner kind of thing, a ludine, if you like. What is the word for a meal at this time of the day? This is so we can be sure of making the most of the sunshine in our garden, which is usually plunged into darkness at around 7pm.
By the way, I've just finished making a couple of litres of mango lassi. This has nothing to do with the food tomorrow. I only made it because Mrs McMuffin insists on buying tons of fruit and veg, and then letting it rot. I have decided to punish her by telling her that she can't drink any of it until it properly chilled. I could have put some ice cubes in it, but that would have let her off easily.

If there's any mango lassi leftover I'm sure it wouldn't clog up the broadband network too much...

It's been gorgeous here today, hottest day of the year so far, though probably that's something to do with the chemical explosion earlier in the week. Mrs Carrots has been practicing for Santorini next week while I was stuck at work Came home to find her & Charley both sunbathing on the big Greek Flag towel that we have :-S
