RIP...probably
This is the sight that greeted me when I went out into the garden first thing this morning. I don't know about you, but I kind of think that any bird who leaves this many feathers behind is not doing okay. Although, I did have a momentary fantasy that I had disturbed a little pagan bird ritual. The birds were all dancing naked on the lawn, and quickly hid in the bushes when I appeared. I have been keeping an eye out, just in case.

The same rituals go on in our garden too, except that they sometimes leave behind a rib or the odd leg. Very strange indeed.
