The missus was in the living room last night and expressed amazement at the [lack of] speed in my crappy old (handcranked) HP laptop booting up. Just as I started to form the case for a Mac, she pointed out that I probably needed to do some disc maintenance and clear out the startup menu.
Damn.
I spent a good 15 minutes gazing at the MacBook Pro anyway. Hope springs eternal.

Oh for goodness sake, how much work can be involved in looking after a little baby. Don't forget there are two of us, and I'm sure Mrs McMuffin will be able to handle things just fine until she goes back to work.

What are you going to do about Slinky? I doubt it' a good idea to let him wake the bairn up by pissing in its face. I'm wondering what "jealousy" might bring out of him given his already shocking behaviour!
