It's been a good day. I've discovered some more new music. This time the band are called CocoRosie. Difficult to descibe their sound, but I guess they are a little bit like Portishead, but without the beat. I think they are hip and trendy New York lesbians who are very friendly with Antony (and The Johnsons), in fact he sings on one of their songs. Here are a couple of tracks from their most recent album, Noah's Ark. The first is the title track, Noah's Ark and the second is the very effective Teckno Love Song.

I was a tad disappointed with this, since I'm a big Portsihead fan, and you compared them to...
The only track that really does it for me is South 2nd, quite a moving little number.
