b-day has arrived
Today's the day. The Bairn should be making an appearance. Mrs McMuffin is fit to pop. We have bought everything that any self-respecting child could want. But, we've obviously missed something because he just will not come out. I hope he realises that the longer he stays in there, the pointier his head will be.

You know the expression, "a watched pot never boils" - applies to babies, too. Pay no attention to him, go the movies, eat a heavy meal, and just when your head hits the pillow exhausted and heavy, your water will break.
This is one of the many pieces of advice you will receive in direction proportion to the number of days you are overdue.
