Mr McMuffin put the heating on briefly this evening. I managed to go out last night and didn't get to bed until after 1.30 am and I bought a new dressing gown today. Could life be any more exciting than this?

Our heating also decided that it must come on this weekend (it's clever like that). Must be winter.

Still horribly hot and humid here. I've got the air conditioning on full-blast. Do you want to swap for a while?
(Of course, if I'm still here by winter - please don't let it be so! - I'll be suffering in -25C, I've heard. Clearly this part of the world hasn't heard of being temperate.)

...but that's just showing off weather, surely temperatures don't need to vary that much in any reasonable climate? Or are we just spoiled in dear old Blighty? By the way, it was nice and warm today.
