we love typepad
We now have 1Gb of storage space and 10Gbs of bandwidth, although we've already used 20Gbs this month. I don't know what they've been doing, but the site is loading very, very fast. I knew something was coming and this was worth the wait. The best bit is that it's all free.

Oh, give them a chance. If you look at their site they are very apologetic for not giving people enough warning about what was going on and they have promised to make sure that we are better informed in the future. Even though it seems to have been handled badly, the improvements are great. So, I forgive them, this time.

I meant to say. I thought there was a fee for typepad - various levels, no?...bte typepad is still very slow when posting comments...takes ages and then you press send again because you think nothing is happening :-S

Their service all seems fine to me, Kirst. For instance I've been over bandwidth by several 100 percent for months and they don't close me down. Same applies for Mr Mc, Welsh View and so on, so no gripes there.
It is slow for me when posting comments too, Sandy. Maybe it's trying to check for comment spam before it applies the comment. Or maybe it's overloaded by typos?
