lunch...

Slinkychicken

Slinky and I had chicken for lunch yesterday. When I wasn't looking he did drag the carcass into the house and I found fragments of chicken bones all over the dining room.

yikes! sounds like he is preparing for a voodoo ritual.

Was this a murder attempt? I thought chicken bones splinter and get stuck in their throats.

I've heard that too, but it doesn't make any sense. They're no more likely to choke on a bone than we are. It does happen, but it's pretty rare. I have a simple policy for feeding the cat. If there was any chance they could've caught it themselves then it is probably okay. If he didn't dislike going outside so much then I am sure he could catch a chicken. Dispite the fact that he sleeps 22 hours every day, he is still a lean, mean, killing machine. It must be all that stretching.

David 2 is right, the bones are dangerous beacuse they're cooked and more likely to splinter.

Did he eat the bones, or just lick off the meat?

[Sorry, that sounds pornographic!]

Anyway, he's certainly your little lion, and I consider this photograph to be your attempt at re-capturing all the action of the Savannah in good old Blighty!

I agree with Mr Mc. Charley loves beef flavour Wiskas and I'm sure that if a cow couldn't give him such a good kicking then he'd be able to catch one of those, no probs.
