happy slinky
Slinky has been celebrating my recent poorly sickness by draping himself across me at every opportunity. He acted betrayed today when I improved and spent a lot of the day on my feet, but gave a big mew of appreciation when I collapsed and slept for most of the early evening. This is not unconditional love and makes me wonder even more about how we allowed this tiny tyrant into our lives.

Are you still ill/ill again? Oh, poor you, Mrs Mc; that's horrible. This year hasn't been all that kind to you yet, has it? Have you tried Tixylix? It always used to make me feel better. :-) On top of that, I think you deserve a restful holiday to recuperate, probably breathing in the Alpine air of Switzerland, for instance (rather than the chavvy fumes of McMuffin Country). Get well soon, anyway.
PS You're not actually allergic to Slinky, are you?
