cube zero
Third and final film of the evening was Cube Zero, the third installment in the Cube saga. I really like these films. They just retell the same story but it is an entertaining one. I'd give this 7/10.

The first Cube was an outstanding piece of film, simply because you were uninformed of the hows and whys. Through the whole unfolding horror you were frantically searching for answers which never came - and of course, when you are left with only your own imagination to finish the story, it can be even more disturbing than reality.
Cube Zero goes on to explain the first Cube and is a prequel of sorts. The film parallels life in a way that it explains our birth into this world without any memory of what happened before and the only escape being death - just like the cube. Although the cube is a horror film it has a relevance in our real lives. It astounds me how the director created such a cold film, it will really send chills down your spine. There are some humourous parts in the film, but in actual fact these only emphasise the horror of the film. No matter how much you hope them to escape none ever do.
Such as life...
