thicko
I am thicko. I have just discovered that margueritas are spelt margaritas and everyone is too polite to tell me. I am burning with shame.
We also have a comment from someone calling himself Mr Machete' saying that the blog of truth is returning. The horror! I hope he does start it back up again and this time the comments aren't too nasty. I haven't quite forgotten being called a baby murderer by a crazy 'christian' type. To be fair, this person did repent of his nastiness, but I imagine he always thought of me as the type to shoot little children in their pushchairs, with a big gay loving gun hidden under my burkha.
Now, I don't consider myself a fag hag, as I'm very wary of people who want to be friends with others based on sexuality, race etc. I like to think that our chums are all lovely people with an evil sense of humour and that's the sole criteria for me. Some of our friends are gay and some aren't. That's that. However, I do find myself desperately, haggishly wanting to be chums one of the Fab Five men (US not UK). They are all just lovely. There's Carson, very funny with an underlying bitterness; Jai, so cute and energetic; Ted, who never quite gets the food and drink right; Kyan, eyes a little too close for true beauty and saddled with the boring job of being a shaving guru and my very favourite, Thom. I don't know why I adore Thom so much. I don't want to have his babies or anything vile like that, I haven't googled him to find out any more information about him, I don't even watch every show. It's bizarre, but I just love him.

Oh, I thought "marguerita" was one of those British vs. American things (like "colour" or "31-01-05).
I felt the same way about the QE guys when they debuted. Made me realize how much I miss my old gay friends since marriage & family & move to the suburbs...

Perhaps a little commentary is necessary, as I understood n'er a word of what your entry is about. KP

I don't know the programme, so I had to Google. Is this who you mean?

Oh yes, that is the lovely Thom, David.
Donna, no it was just me being thick!
Keith, surely you know the lovely Queer Eye men?

I know what you mean about Thom - who wouldn't love a man who comes in and buys you a whole house full of new furniture?
My personal fave, tho, is Ted. I mean, he gets men to actually COOK.

What the hell are you talking about?
And you wonder why I've been away...??
:-p

Thom! I love Thom! He's so good! Except the time he took the private in the Army to JC Penney's. Which is just horrible.
I like it when Jai cries in each episode.

Jai is my favorite 5 guy. He's so damn cute I can't resist.

Thom said in an interview that he tries to select furnishings that the makeover guy would be able to afford if he was shopping himself. So that could be why they were at Penney's.
Then again, it probably had more to do with the nice fat product placement fees the producers get...

This is very GOOD idea IMHO :)
