personal review of today
A new job. Margaritas (I think I have become addicted, but who knew that 10 limes gave so little juice. I had to supplement it with orange and lemon juice. Very nice.) Had some wine too, and half of Ms Gypsy Tart's dinner, which she foolishly brought to our house. Feeling a bit drunk. Agreed to see two films on Sunday with Mr Rock Cake and Ms Gypsy Tart. We are going to see Garden State then a quick drive over to the next town to do some late shopping and have something to eat before seeing The Incredibles (We have finally persuaded Mrs McMuffin that this is a film worth seeing.) Now that is my kind of a day.

I'll be curious to hear what Mrs. McMuffin has to say about The Incredibles. Midway through the film, my husband (who only sees animated films because we have a kid) leaned over to me and whispered, "This is one of the best movies EVER."
Garden State is on my list, too -- and now that it's out on DVD here, maybe I'll even get to see that one...

That's exactly what Mr Carrot Cake said to me about this film. I hope you enjoy it, but bear in mind that we too only ever get to see kids films.
