it's been a funny day...

For some reason that I still haven't worked out, we haven't been able to get on the internet properly today. We seemed to have some kind of connection but every page we tried to load eventually timed out. At first I just assumed it was Typepad doing the work they promised over this weekend, and then I decided it must be Apple doing some work. I finally decided that my ISP must be having problems. The mystery is that the router reported that everything was okay. Anyway, it's just gone back to normal. The interesting thing is that I had some work today for a training course I'm running next week, but I just couldn't seem to get anything done without an internet connection. When did that happen? When did a lack of an internet connection join the list of reasons for not doing any work? We really are living in the future.
