breaking the waves
Well, we managed to watch 33 minutes of it before giving up to have a fag and listen to some Jethro Tull. Mrs McMuffin, a keen advocate of women's rights. kept shouting at the TV "why the hell don't you just slap her?" We've decided to watch Near Dark instead. Nothing like a bit(e) of vampire mayhem to cheer you up.

Oooo tres depressing film. I saw that years ago. Set I believe up yonder in your old homeland wasn't it?
I on the other hand just sat through the Polar express in 3-D imax. yipee!!!! It was quite a good way to piss away two hours.

OHHHH, yes super depressing film. If you think that was bad don't watch Dancer In The Dark. Much more tragic female character...
