back to basics

I am pleased to announce that having tried out Political and Personal Problem blogging, I have returned to form. As my incisive political commentary consisted of calling Mr McMuffin names, this is probably a very good thing.

I have shopped, cleaned and changed the bedding on my own again and once more put off the home improvements (in reality basic repairs) that I had idly thought of undertaking. All in all a very ordinary weekend, except that I have an awful confession to make. I bought the Sunday Mail. Not for me, you understand (Mr McMuffin begged me to buy it so that he could have A River Runs Through It on DVD), but what was truly dreadful was that I read it. Amazingly I couldn't find a single story about how Social Workers were undermining the fabric of decent society. We really must try harder.
