why does sleep hate me?

I can't even blame it on the combination of Mr McMuffin and Slink who conspired to keep me awake the other night through judicious use of speaking in tongues (Mr McMuffin's stunning ability to speak Farsi when unconscious), little catty dream twitches and growls (that would be the Slinking one) and heavy arms casually flung over my frail torso (bit of both of them). I can't even blame it on concern for the victims of the tsunami, or my worries about the health of an employee. No, saddened as I am, only the trivia of my own life makes for sleeplessness. As I'm awake though, I'd like to wish everyone a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda and Pob Hwyl in 2005. May it be a happier and more peaceful year than the last.
