mystery
We found a piece of bread on the dining room floor just now. An ordinary piece of sliced brown bread, nothing very unusual about that. The thing is that we don't have any bread like it in the house. Perhaps Slinky is trying to feed us, or the teenagers who like to walk past our house want to give something back (through the window) for all the times their obnoxious behaviour has bothered us. Very odd.
Update: Mystery solved. It must have been Slink trying to pacify us, as his behaviour has been truly unacceptable. Yes, I am up this late on a school night because that b*st*rd cat has sprayed on Mr McMuffin in bed again and I am doing clean up duties. Can't even blame the fireworks as he's really not been that bothered by them, apart from not wanting to leave the house.
Further Update: Actually it was those obnoxious b*st*rd teenagers. One put a tomato through the window and into the house earlier tonight. It was a good job Mr McMuffin didn't catch them. Personally I'm hoping that they'll send us gifts of foie gras and fine wines, but it's not that kind of neighbourhood.

So that's where my bread went. I've been looking for that!

Oh, did you get my package? I've mailed you some bread.

If the sack-brick-river solution isn't for you, yet he's still spraying - despite Ra no longer being around, why not drive him some distance away and leave him there? He'll find a new home, just as he did with you. And you can get a new, _dry_ cat.
I think you're being too tolerant of Slinky, and he's taking advantage of your tolerance. But if he's still spraying now, then there might be no end in sight. How many years do you want to live in a house full of cat spray? Another cat could offer you all the benefits but without the spraying problem.

"My" cat never sprays (in the house):-p
He has, bizarrely, taken to getting a hold of my arm with his teeth though. Not biting, just holding, as if to say "so who's in control NOW, eh?". He does this while sitting on my lap while I try to use the PC. I believe it's to stop me typing etc, and continue with the love-giving.
Cats, eh, who'd 'ave 'em?

In Slink's defence, he hasn't done this for ages and ages. He has become very dry, I don't know what upset him last night.

Would it be possible to get the cat to spray on the teenagers?

Bottle it and sell it as 'toilet water'? Eau de Slink?
