the grudge...
...or Ju-on is a very scary film. I am very tired, but am too fearful to go near our staircase, so am avoiding going upstairs to bed. I don't think it's as terrifying as Dark Water but is easily as frightening as The Ring. I don't want to see any more Japanese horror films with scary children and unhappy endings. If you haven't seen it, then don't. You'll sleep better.

Actually I wrote this. Mr McMuffin is a big baby, but he wasn't as scared as me. Personally, I don't think he has the imagination. Anyway, he's come up trumps and hired Dawn of the Dead. Yes!

How I wish I could watch scary movies. But I can't. I can read horror novel after horror novel, no problem. Watch the same novel made into a movie--even a bad made for Television movie--NO WAY. Do you think there's a therapy that could cure this?

I'm really looking forward to seeing The Grudge, as I do love a good scary movie. I prefer a good "psychological thriller" as opposed to a movie that just startles with baddies popping out here and there.
I thought The Ring was just great, and this one looks just as good. Heck, the movie's website creeped me out! All I need now is a babysitter. .
