slinky melting...
I took this photo of poor Slinky as he seemed to be melting into the table. He has been a bit moany over the last couple of days, and I can only assume it is because he is just too hot. Poor, very, very, annoying, thing.
[Update: this photo is driving me mad. For some reason I just cannot get the spacing right on it. I must have re-uploaded it half a dozen time, but it just will not sit right.]

Oh My, I think Slinky might be surprised at how large his nose looks in that photo. better be careful before he calls Extreme Makeover.

Bob is feeling the heat too, with all those extra fat reserves. He's been lolling about the house and garden 'pirrup'ing at us, looking well and truly fed up (mind you, that's his usual look).

Have you got a thing about the size of Slink's nose? I think this is the second time you have mentioned it. For goodness sake, he's a cat. He isn't interested in how big his nose is. This is an animal who will quite happily wander around all day with shit hanging from his bum, and the poor thing has no idea why no one will let him sit on them.
Speaking of shit, by the way, David, I have discovered that cats are not very fond of fresh Rosemary. Slinky reacts very strangely around the smell, so I have sprinkled it all over the slate chipping at the back door, in the hope that Ra will not want to use it as a toilet anymore. 12 hours and counting.

It's not exactly a passion of mine! ;-)
But it's interesting to hear about the rosemary - and if it works, it'll save you from having to overdose on oranges and from getting attacked by a million wasps in the process! So that can only be a good thing. :-)
