just saw something funny

I am sitting at the dining table checking blogs, when I heard a strange tap, tap, tap noise coming from outside. I looked out of the window and saw a very old woman, with a walking stick, looking at the weed infested front bit to our house. It is too small to call it a front garden. She then tap, tap, tapped away down the lane. A couple of minutes later, I heard the now familiar noise. It stopped outside the window, and I could hear a strange rustling sound. Like the secret agent I was born to be, I spied out of the window to see what was going on. The old woman was pulling up weeds. She gathered a big clump of the things, put them in her carrier bag, and went tap, tap, tapping on her way up the lane. When I went outside to take this photo, I realised that when she first stopped she must have been looking at these, debating with herself whether to take some of them. Clearly she was just too honest, and opted to take a few of the prettiest weeds instead. I wish I'd realised. She could have taken whatever she wanted. If I see her again, I'll cut her some to take home.
