...Jo to a 'cook off' the next time she's in the UK.
Redesigning the blog without letting the blogdemon in.
Saving money.
Spending the saved money on the house of shame (aka McMuffin Mansions).
Getting healthier (goodbye fags and hallo exercise).
Remembering everyones' birthdays (Penblwydd Hapus to Michael and David TEFLSmiler).
Not equating mocking and cynicism with a good sense of humour (so no pictures of dead bunnies sent to us by the Housing Dept. as evidence of a family's depravity put into a frame and placed on a colleague's desk with 'Best Pet Ever' on it and certainly not marking her melted pen with 'Property of Uri Geller).
Becoming proficient in another language (something really easy).
Getting the job application in tomorrow (even though I don't really want it and the interviews are Monday and it's probably too late already).
Writing decent entries for the blog.

I quite fancy learning Japanese. Not exactly 'something easy' tho'. Is there a language that is easy to learn?

Yay!! Can't wait. Now if ya'll will just lower the damn exchange rate so I can afford to come back.
Good on you for the fag quitting. Mighty hard. I quit in my 20's. Once you hate the smell of them you're golden.
...and there ain't nothin' you can tell me about spending money on the castle, no siree Bob.
I would have liked to have seen the face of the recipient of the practical 'joke'.

Kirsty, I don't know any languages that ae easy to learn unless you're really gifted. I am thinking of getting my French up to scratch and consolidating my Wenglish. I probably won't actually DO anything!
Jo, I would love to eat a Counting Sheep/McMuffin challenge meal and I imagine it would be the finest cuisine. Good job I've eaten as I might dribble just thinking about it.
Much like learning a language, I'm doing the thinking (about knocking the fags on the head) just have to put it into practice.
My work colleague was pleased with her Uri Geller pen and I can't wait to see her face tomorrow when she sees her new pet. My colleagues really are an evil bunch, which is probably why I stick with the work, I laugh a lot, even though the work is poo. As for houses, I feel your pain...

So it was a real rabbit, then?
What is your Welsh like exactly? You seem to be pretty much a native speaker to me (and what is native-speakerdom, anyway?). How would you self-assess it? What can/can't you say? Can you, for instance, say what you did on your holidays last summer?
Giving up the tabs sounds like a good idea! But you don't smoke much Mrs M, anyway. My own last attempt was last autumn. It didn't work out, but that doesn't mean that a re-newed effort should fail. Should we all give up together? Should we have 1 Sept as our starting date?

David, I have been told that my accent is flawless, but I no longer posess the ability to say what i did on holiday unless it is at the level of a not very bright 2 year old. It's very sad. As for smoking, i smoke loads, honest. I am as hard and cool as anyone. September 1st seems so close!
