a brick wall...
I have just realised that I have managed to take myself into a design cul-de-sac. The nice clean design that I was looking for, means that I can no longer play around with extra bits like I used to. What is a boy to do? I think another redesign may be on the cards in the not too distant future. Ah, well, back to the drawing board.

I can't find an email link, so will ask here -- I am hosting this week's Carnival of the Cats, and wonder if you would like to enter one (or more) of your cat posts? Entries need to be to me by 5 PM mountain time today.

Hope to see you there!

I recently found myself in a similar situation. When redesigning Kermit the Blog, I went with earth tones for an overall color scheme. Now whenever I want to include a photo with a post, I have to replace the white background with hex #E9E9E4. Hardly quick and convenient. I'll know better next time, and stick with white for the content area.

I'm all for more bells and whistles, but for god's sake take pity on those of us still on dial up, Windows 95, AOL 6.0 and don't go overboard!
