wedding hell

...well it was all going swimmingly until the groom took time out of his special day to tell his own brother, our Mr McMuffin, that the sole reason his family are not united in love is because I am a heinous bitch and hated by one and all. As you can imagine, this put a damper on our weekend.

I know that not everyone in the family hates me, because I'm not actually that objectionable. What can you say to this evildoing? I predict a long and happy marriage.

So when was this comment made?

As a crack to break the ice and get everyone in a good mood while waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle?

Or during the speeches and toasts part at the reception?

Did many people hear it?

And will it be regretted?

Finally, were there any sober people there?

Okay, my jaw hit the desk when I heard thast one. Especially after some of the tidbits I have gleaned from Mr. M about his 'family life' before the lovely Mrs. M. I will assume that you were out of earshot for this friendly aside by the groom, as if you had heard it, I presume that he would have needed to wait a long while to consumate his wedding... wink wink dontcha know.

Oh yes. Mr Mc Muffin's brother waited until it was just them together ( I had gone back to the hotel because I was still a bit under the weather) and dressed it up initially as a discussion about why they hadn't been close for the last 20 years-I've only been around for 10. What can I say? it was pure evil and designed to get Mr McM really upset and me, of course. The brother had also had a bust up with his wife of 7 hours and thrown his wedding ring at her, as we found out later.

I really hate him for doing this. Funnily enough, all the other McMuffins were delightful and I had a nice time with them. Bastard bastard bastard.

Maybe they take turns? So, which one will it be at the next family reunion?

Oh well, you can look forward to the TEFL Smiler visiting the McMuffin residence. I've booked my flight and I'll e-mail you with more details.

This leaves you with eleven days to clean up the cat poo, etc, so that should take your minds off the weekend just gone.

Excellent! Please be aware that you are likely to want to get away as quickly as possible from my condescension and general hatefullness, so keep the taxi meter running!

Oh, I'm sure I can deal with "your sort". I'll smile sweetly and leave you with no choice other than being completely charming towards me. Easy! :-)
