spare a thought...
...for those of us attending a McMuffin wedding this weekend. I hope the weather's good as we're supposed to be going punting after the ceremony and before the meal. Given all the men in kilts, we might have a 'Piano' style moment in the river, if we're lucky. That would liven things up.
Have a good weekend.

Hardy type that he is, I expect Mr McMuffin will be wearing his kilt "regimental" ?
I too am at a wedding, but only for the service thank heavens.

Punting? Is that another of your strange sexual practices that you're trying to work into every blog. Does wearing a kilt make it easier to "punt"? I guess this is why "ladies of the night" call their clients "punters" is it??
Or do I have the wrong end of the stick?

Did you wear a hat Mrs McM, or is it just in English films women always wear these sometimes strange creations?
In Sweden it's mostly seen at royal weddings.

Steve, 'punting' is a legitimate water sport in Cambridge (haha) as you know.
Thanks for the kind wishes to everyone else-as you may gather it went badly wrong at about 2am!
Ella, it really depends on how formal the wedding is as to whether women wear hats, but usually the bride's mother and the groom's mother wear them. There were a fair spinkling of hats at our wedding, but none at the weekend.
