women died for this, you know..

...so that's why I always vote. I hope you did too. I don't care who you voted for unless you put a cross beside the BNP or the 'Pro Life' party (who the flipping heck are they?) but I don't think you did. I hope they lose their deposits and find a new, slimy rock to crawl under. That's all I'm saying on the subject.

I did make the effort to go out and vote, and was very shocked by the size of the EU election ballot slip.
I hope they used recycled paper!

Oh, you had to go out and vote? Here we had postal-only voting and we were very happy about that as it meant we didn't have to leave the safety of our suburban castle on this chilly thursday evening.
Postal voting is great. Vote on form A. Place in Enevlope B and then sign form C. Get a witness to say that you are who you say you are, and get them to sign, date and address form C too. Place envelope B and Form C in Envelope D and post.

You make it sound so complicated. No wonder so many people were so unhappy about the process. The voting list was soooo long. Are there really that many people who want to control our lives? I wonder what the Pro Life Party's position is on the introduction of the Euro into the UK. The list was so big that I got a bit confused, and I had to ask Mrs McMuffin who we were voting for. Fortunately, she had already made up our minds for us.

We didn't have that many candidates up here, just the usual suspects.

I guess there is just no point trying to control you northerners anyway.
