precious...

I need one of these. The new 30" Cinema Display from Apple. It is clear to me now that my so called computing life has been a sham so far. It only costs $3,299.00, which seems a bargain to me.
UPDATE: The link should work now

Gosh - a screen that size would swallow you whole! You have to sit really far away from it not to destroy your eyes!
Forget surround sound - why don't they just invent a surround screen? Then, using a number of strategically placed webcams and technology like Apple's forthcoming 3D multiple video iChat, you could turn to your left to speak to the 'screen-person' on the left-hand side of you, to the right for the 'person' on the right, and straight on for the person there, too! It's so sci-fi - it even goes beyond Blake Seven! It's when we become 'one' with our computers! ;-)

I too have screen envy. I keep hoping that our old TV will die so I can buy me one of those nice new HDTV, flat screen thingies. Husband just can't see the need.
Die TV, Die!!

Time to change the birthday countdown timer... Maybe someone'll get you one of these next time around.
Feeling much better now. Maybe it's Mrs Mcs Derrier that cheered me up so much ;-0)

We have a 21" JVC TV that I bought about 15 years ago. It was pretty good at the time. Now I want it to die, so that I can get a lovely flat screen. It did flash red for a little while a few months ago, but nothing since. It's really hard to justify buying a new TV when this one still works fine. That JVC lot really know how to make TVs and me miserable. Maybe it's time to get out the screwdriver, or decorate in the living room.
Steve, are you pogging my bird?
