i give up...
I just can't stand it anymore. My will to live is slowly being sucked from my body. There is just no use pretending that I am working anymore. I thought I would have a quick look around the blogging world, and then go home. I wonder if the weather is nice enough to sit outside with a glass of wine. I am missing our Monday night drinking sessions.

You must have nerves of steel in your profession, Mrs M. Well, I for one think it's wonderful that there are lovely people like you doing such work. Keep it up - you're doing a good job, I'm sure. :-)

That was very kind, David, but it was in fact Mr McMuffin who had such a terrible day. Poor man. I'd hate to be a man doing our job. I think nasty men feel ok threatening to kill other men (or beating their partners) but generally hesitate to threaten a 'lady' social worker.

You definitely need a session round at the Carrot Cakes Garden with a large bottle of wine. You have the weather for it today too.
Perhaps there may be some cheesecake left. If not, maybe your chocolate extravaganza thingy might be the ticket.
We think you're lovely even if people at work don't appreciate you.
