here i am...
Just thought I would let you know that I am sitting here drinking a large glass of Amaretto and listening to my newest album, from one of those wonderful free sites, Rush's Feedback. A surprise album of cover versions of 60's tunes. And, even though I am a long-time Rush fan, it is pretty good. The band sound like they are having fun.
The truth is I am drinking Disaronno. Does anyone know when, or why, Amaretto became Disaronno?

I like it, but it makes me queasy. Just my bad luck. I don't think I've seen any adverts for ut over here, though.

It's one of the few spirits I can stomach, but I have to have it with lots of ice, and then it's delicious. Had no idea about the name change. Could it just be a different brand of the same kind of almondy-licious nectar?

I soak raisins in Amaretto then add them to apple strudel. Yum.
Do you also like Marzipan then, being fond of almonds?

That sounds good. I love marzipan, but Mrs McMuffin doesn't. Do you know that the drink is made from Apricot pits and not almonds, although it is flavoured with almonds.
