the streets...

I have just been listening to The Streets' new album 'A Grand Don't Come For Free', and it is fantastic. I am surprised by how much I like it. It has an authentic British feel to it, and all done without the cod accents that people like Damon Albarn feel necessary to adopt. Anyway, you can download one of the songs from the album from here. Rush out and get this album now.

Noooooooo, it's terrible! The current single "You're Fit And You Know It" is a comedy record surely; it's "Jilted John" by Jilted John dressed up as something different. In fact everything I've heard by The Streets sounds like a comedy record, and I can't really take the accent either.
Ha, our musical tastes seem to be rather poles apart, I'd better stop commenting on your music reviews!
