feel the quality

I was pleased to find out today that standards have remained high for a place on the MA program that I attended. The candidates were a bit of a mixed bag, but the ones we agreed should be offered places will make good social workers. I feel reassured.

That's all I've got to say today, I am feeling a bit dull and tired having put up with the Slinky and Mr McMuffin snoring symphony again last night. It drives me mad, but really is a fabulous duet. Mr McMuffin also began to speak in tongues, but a light shove on the shoulder cured that. Sometimes I think it's really not civilised to share a bed and bedroom with another person.

I have often pondered the wonderful possibilities of seperate bedrooms...with one common room for things other than sleeping?

I share my bedroom with my cat, and come to think of it, he's probably wondering when I'm going to take the hint and move the hell out of the bed and onto the couch where I belong.

He doesn't give me a light shove on the shoulder, though. Nope. He lifts his tail and parks his pucker right on my face. Brings new meaning to the phrase "bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in the morning."

Yuk! Slinky's habit of jumping on my head and yowling now seems like good manners.

T, surely you don't need a separate room to play scrabble in? That's not natural.

At least you don't get pawed in the eyes or on the lips - that's Bob's last-resort move, guaranteed to get a reaction.
And this cat isn't even yours, you say?

He is not ours, but we are his. As I saw somewhere else, dogs have masters, cats have staff. We are his staff and we exist to make his life as comfortable as possible.

Your Bob really is king of cats. I'm not going to let Slinky read the blog, he might get ideas, or be very offended that I've said that about Bob.
