such a boy...
Apologies for being such a boy, but I couldn't help myself. Steve and TEFL Smiler have put up screen shots of their desktops so I just had to do the same. I am sure Steve will have a laugh at the irony of my wallpaper, but it really is the nicest one that I have found so far. It is very calming. David, notice the lovely clear background to the dock. I think that's enough boy stuff for now.

Steve will most certainly have a laugh at you having Windows XP wallpaper on your Mac. You don't have to pretend in this way, you can go out and buy a real computer and start living the dream!

Lubbly, dubbly! Lots of exciting things. Eg: Where's your harddrive gone? How have you managed to magic that away? And what's the @ symbol on the menu bar, on the right-hand side?
Not that I should get involved in the Macs vs Microsoft debate, but Macs are better. With one exception: if you want to play games, they're probably not, as not enough games are written for them. So it's not really their own fault, anyway. For everything else, though, a Mac is the cat's willy (or whatever the expression is!).

Dogz Bollox ;-)

LOL! Of course! The expression had seriously left my mind, probably due to all the beer I had last night.
Yes, Macs are the dogz bollox. This is a very good thing, except that Macs can't be used in the same way during reproduction, and it's probably best not to lick your Mac. Or your dog, for that matter. Or to reproduce with your pet. Oh dear, how do I get out of this one...?

I have the same one, and I love how it soothes me! In fact, there is a screen saver version that has the clouds blowing across the sky. I would never leave my desk if I could figure out where to get it and install it!

David, I am runnning OS10.3 (Panther) and this allows, among many, many other things, you to remove drives from your desktop. The @ is a fantastic little programme called iAddressX which allows me easy access to my address book and also allows me to do a variety of things with the information. Let me know if you are interested and I will send you a copy to have a look at.

You can download the Bliss Screen Saver for Windows XP only from here:

I think it installs itself.

Very nice.
Do you know if there's one for my desktop where maybe Gail Porter jiggles her boobies a bit??
Posted by: Steve | 14 Apr 2004 16:51:25
Couldn't find a jiggly one but found this:

A screen saver with a collection of photos of that really irritating Scottish bird!
