nothing much going on

Back at work today, bleurgh. Busy, busy, busy, boring. We're expecting a friend in a minute, so this pitiful offering will be us for tonight, probably. Catch you later!

You're right, I don't want to lose them yet, but we could move them down and get rid of the CD and books stuff. I feel a redesign coming on.

I wanted to know why some people call those bugs "cheesy bugs". Do they taste like cheese? Did someone actually eat some? Yuk.

Apparently they taste like prawns, but I've never tried them myself. I have no idea why we call them cheesy bugs, it's just right and proper, and unnatural not to do so. In fact, I only became aware that cheesy bug was a local name when I met Mr McMuffin and he called then Slater Beetles. I thought he was a freak. Mind you I mocked his toes for their freakishness, only to discover that in fact it is MY toes that are not normal. Guess I took that self esteem stuff a little too far.

Steve, if you go back to the original entry, click on the picture of the bugs, you will find a link for making a delicious cheesy bug sauce. Apparently these little creatures are crustaceans and are related to shrimp and the like. I don't fancy cooking with them myself, but if you are feeling brave...
