I only just found out
Black Books is back. Good.
Our lovely neighbour just came round to ask us to look after Slinky next week as she's got a late deal on a holiday. I had to confess he practically lived with us. She seemed really alright about it. I'm just waiting for the brick.

Dear Victoria Sponge, I think Mr McMuffin has been most unfair to you. Your guest post was far more interesting than ours, and I am pleased that you finally took up the blogging challenge.
Mr McMuffin should also give you credit for the help you gave him on Sunday. Despite your gippy post holiday tummy you gave up an afternoon when you could have been with Ms Ginger Cake, Treacle Tart and I.
I do think it is a karma thing though. If you are lucky enough to have parents who live in Crete, there has to be badness elsewhere!
We haven't got the brick yet.
